New management is terrible the place looks dirty the girls at the front desk not customer service savvy. I recieved a 2 min eye examine was told that my vision did not change, I was told my insurance did not cover anything, and I had to pay cash. I kept questioning and the supervisor checked into it only to find that I was eligible. They had 6 frames frames for union payers to choose from. So I picked one, when I asked can I have a my glasses and a contact prescription that did not change, they wanted to charge me 100 dollars, mind you I did not have a contact exam. The girl stated bc there is a new date on it, I have to charge you. Of course I was in disbelief. I have been going to this esatblishment since I was a kid and I knew the "Dr I Benjamin" great man btw, but I will be looking for another establishment where I want to spend my money not get swindled out of it. Sad, I really did not want to give any stars.

85-100 bucks for a 2 minute eye exam. and they don't tell you, you can't get more contacts until you get another exam after a year. scam

The best place for your eyes! Called for my exam got appointment for the next day. Doctor was thorough and patient. The girls in front are so friendly helped choose my frames and the price was even better.

I would definitely recommend Benjamin Optical to any and all my friends, family. Im from east Harlem and i walked all over my neighborhood looking for a good price on contacts and eye exam. What i found around my neighborhood was prices ranging from $125-$180 just for an eye exam for contacts, not even with the contacts. After google searching i came across Benjamin Optical and when i arrived there i was helped right away. The service is great, and the prices are amazing. I paid about $180 for my eye exam and contacts. Try this place out trust me you will not regret it. I will be a regular customer from now to forever. Thanks again Benjamin Optical, because of you and your staff i can see the world in HD.
