Benihana Manhasset

This is an amazing place where you can watch the people cook amazing food right in front of you! The cooks are also great entertainers! When I was here, I had a guy named Henry at our table. He was great!!!

Walked in at 7pm, got my name on the list to be seated at 8:15pm. Waited & waited til 8:30pm. Spoke to hostess and she said "not sure when you'll be seated, I just can't kick people out, if you want to eat eat you'd have to wait." I tried to speak to a manager but no manager was available. Will never come back nor recommend this place.

Probably the worst Resturant and service in Long Island.
One waiter for the entire bar area, she forgot some of our order and the rolls they brought out was AWFUL ! Then when we questioned her she apologized and said we will cancel the orde ! We had to go across to wholefood to buy our dinner! They didn't even compensate an ice tea. I told the manger it's his fault to just stand there and not help or get other staff to help her out!
The most Ridicules thing I have ever heard in year..
No spicy sauce ! Who doesn't have spicy sauce..they said the headquarters new rule. How about this .. Maybe you should change your service ..

I would like to share my experience eating at the Benihanas in Manhassat on June 17, 2015. We made reservations the night before. We were going to be a large party of 13 people and wanted separate checks. The receptionists stated that would not be a problem. Our party checked in at 6:00 which was our reservation time. My family had car trouble and arrived at 6:45. The manager said we were way past our reservation time. The wait time would be another 40 minutes. The restaurant was not that busy. We waited and was sat at 7:20. Our waitress Aaliyah came over and took our order. I told her it was my fathers and cousins birthday. We wanted to celebrate together and take separate checks. She made a noise clearly out of disgust and said we could not do that. I told her she would still get her gratuity and she continued to take our order. The entire order was wrong. We waited over 30 minutes for our soup. When the chef came to cook for us he was missing several items. In the middle of eating she handed us our checks to make sure our bill was correct. We told her that the $30.00 birthday coupon was not applied. She said she would correct it. When it was time to sing Happy Birthday to my father and cousin she only brought out one ice cream with a candle. She did not sing to my cousin. She did not sing the song in Japanese either. Then she said the camera was broken too. The real shock came when we got the Bill. Her and the manager decided to split the Birthday coupon between the entire table. I was under the impression that the Birthday person receives the $30.00 coupon not to be split between the table. We complained to the server and she said that’s what they do here. I then asked to speak with a manager and he apologized. We finally left the establishment at 10:00 at night. This was the worst experience I have ever had at Benihana. I don’t think we will ever return.

Never again ...
-It took for ever to get the food
-we were 8 ppl and they served 3 of us way in advance
-they made a mistake on my coworker's order and given we were already wait for work, he did not eat ...

Ohhh and he had to pay his coke Oo
