Not a very well known place by tourists, but it has one of the best views of Central park. It's the highest observation point in central park and serves as the main weather station for Manhattan.

The Belvedere castle is my favourite spot in Central Park. The view of the city, the turtle pond and the great lawn is amazing. During the night the castle gets lit up not only by lights but also from fireflies, that is a beautiful, relaxing sight.

A cool spot with terrific views of the city. It's also a weather station, with some interesting information about weather forecasting. There's also a Central Park gift shop here, if you're in the mood for a souvenir.
