I received excellent service ...I was in and out in a little over an hour... this was perfect because I had many errands to do and didn't want to spend the day in the salon. I just got a wash and set and it was excellent! I would definitely go backa nd recommend it to anyone. LOVED my hair and received compliments, always a good sign...

WOW... I actually LOVE the way my hair looks and feels after going to Bel Air. I recently moved to Bklyn from The Bronx during my pregnancy, and as I got further along, got tired of the hour commute for my bi weekly wash and sets... needless to say, Olivia, Cecilia, Antonia, Mariel, Rosita, Josephina, have ALWAYS kept my mane beautiful. And an added bonus, the salon doesnt turn me away when I show up with my daughter :) Prices are a bit high, but guess what? I would rather pay that knowing great products are being used :)

Many of the stylists are NOT licensed and neither is the "manager". Of the two times I have gone to this salon, the manager was consistently rude to clients and I was never pleased with my hair, especially when the "manager" attempted to style it (albeit without a hair license). Prices are negotiable based on the "manager's" attitude. I would recommend going to Anneris' Salon on Flatbush and Bergen for real Dominican stylists, who are professional, licensed and care about your hair.

The stylists there are very nice however, i do agree the owner Olivia is a bit rude and dramatic at times. She has another black girl working there dark skin short girl w/big eyes who is a complete rude idiot. w/n interpersonal skills, that is a turn off and makes me take my services to Sisters downtown BK, for great work and cheaper prices.
They need to keep it a Dominican only shop and get rid of the short black girl, b4 they lose they lose more customers!

You know a lot of times you go to a hair salon, and no one speaks english? Crazy huh? Well at Bel Air Dominican Beauty .. not only do they speak Spanish .. but English too! The service is great. Olivia who is the head hair stylist and owner is hands down the best hair dresser in all of Brooklyn. I dont trust my hair to anyone else! Great salon! Definetely worth a trip downtown Brooklyn!
