such a strange experience. a great whisky selection, and some compelling flights. but a staff that seems slightly inconvenienced. to the point that the door was locked during business hours, and the gentleman that finally came to open it pointed out that "there was a buzzer". well ok - unconventional - but it cost them more than a few customers who were perplexed by their apparent disinterest in having an open door. again, though, a good scotch selection is hard to fault, so you take the bad with the good, and err on the side of three stars.

This is a nice spot to get cozy or have some low-key, deep conversation with some well-made drinks.
Old fashioneds & sazeracs are perfectly prepared with care. Whiskey Tuesdays are a revelation with certain brands being priced at $10/$20/$30 a glass, a nice discount and an opportunity to try new scotches & whiskeys.
Service was warm & friendly, very attentive. Overall, this is a great place to wind down after a tough day at work.
