I made an order for 86 dollars. My issue is not the food but the service, my salmon is $10.00 by itself, and if u add sides it comes out to be 1.89 extra. So I ordered a salmon dinner added my sides, and I asked the person taking my order for another salmon. Upon looking at my receipt I ask her to just add 2 sides to the purchase, she tells me she can't do it, so I asked her can I just giver her the 1.89 and tell the servers to add the sides, she said no, so I said, you want me to pay 3.50 per side? She said there's nothing she can do, great customer service!

3 stars for good food however service is absolutely terrible. long lines , long wait on food. Staffing needs to be allocated to move the lines and service customers a lot faster . I would go there more often if it wasn't for such bad service. Oh by the way they only accept cash ??? No cards ?? Smh ....:(

cool staff, long lines, affordable, order the fried whiting, mac+chz, yams. yum.
(idk what these other reviewers are talking about-- noone has ever been rude to me & i'm sensitive)

I'm all for supporting black owned buisnesses but sometimes it is my own race that makes you shameful and can be an eye opener to what others are saying. The food has potential to be amazing but the ghetto-ness of this establishment is totally unexceptable. Save yourself the trouble of visiting this location. You could have prepared a full course meal yourself by the time you wait on this place and dealnwith the attitudes.

THE WORST SERVICE TAKE OUT SERVICE. They have good food but they are severely lacking in the service department. If you are willing to wait at least 1hr for a simple dinner take out order during hours when the restaurant is virtually empty, then yes, this is the place for you. I went there and ordered two dinners. There were about three people dining in at the time so there was no reason I should have waited 1 1/2 hrs for my food.
I ended up walking out with a refund.
I saw people come and go over and over yet I kept being told I needed to wait a few more minutes. At first I couldn't understand what the problem was, then i realized how they prioritized orders. They take care of catered orders and deliveries first then deal with in-store patrons.
After 45mins of waiting, I noticed that they implemented a new delivery system using Grub Hub. I don't think they have a handle on prioritizing in store orders versus online orders.
Lastly, they only take cash which in this day is nothing other than an inconvenience to customers and a work around government taxes for the owners.
