Bed of Nails- Nail Bar

Sooo disappointed! This was to be my first nail appointment ever. I made an appointment, came in a 1/2 early and did NOT get my nails done. Apparently only 1 girl there knew how to anything beyond a simple manicure and she was not available until next week. I realize this is a small business, but shouldn't all the nail girls here know how to do everything? I don't think gel is all that exclusive of a skill set either. They are unable to offer customers any sort of flexibility or assurance due to their lack of workers and very limited skill set. I would never go back and I don't recommend this place at all. I think the worst part is I got charged a cancellation fee even though I was there and I wasted 30 min. of my life with them. Sigh...such a bad experience.

I was really disappointed with the service. First, I made an appointment the day before and when I came in they couldn't find my reservation. Next, the young lady that did my nails was very dry and unfriendly. I felt very uninvited. She did a terrible job with my gel manicure and shaped my nails uneven. Called them up to fix it because I was displeased and they got back to me two days later! I will never go back and I tell all my customers to not go there.

I had heard such wonderful things about this salon and was quite excited about making my appointment on line.

I had a 1:30 appointment for a mani and pedi. I arrived at the salon after taking a cab over a $12.00 cab ride as I live in East Harlem. When I arrived I was asked to choose my color, The salon is quite lovely and they have an excellent selection of high end nail polishes, However the "high end" ends right there.

I had found that the website for booking appointments was confusing as the services don't come up right away what does come up is a calendar so you can book your service but not as a combined service.
My nail artist greeted me and then proceeded to tell me that since I booked my appointment on line at the same time so she could not do my pedi until 6PM!!!!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? She said that she could do the mani but all of the artists were booked up so my service for the pedi would be at 6pm.
I was LIVID. How dare you!!!! who runs a business like this??? She did offer me a comp pedi but by that time I was so mortified at this unprofessional place so left. So I had to spend more money to go downtown to get my mani and pedi at another salon!!!!
I am a resident of East Harlem and I love to support black owned business, However I am sorry to say that this is the worst way to treat a customer, I was insulted and extremely upset. I will NEVER set foot in this place again.
To the owner.. I would suggest that you hire a staff that trays a customer the way the PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE should treat customers, by giving them a service that they are expecting.Because you have expensive nail colors and your salon looks great does not mean a DAMN thing! its about SERVICE!! and treating a customer with respect and professionalism! Hire folks who make your business look good not like the crap that I experienced at your salon today!!!

I had my first gel manicure here and it came out amazing. The atmosphere is peaceful, the decor is beautiful and the customer service is A1. My nail technician took her time on every aspect of my manicure as is she was creating art. I will definitely be returning.

Made an appointment via the phone. They sent me an email for confirmation and even called to remind me the day of. When I arrived the reception was kind and warm. Although they started on me later than my actual appointment I was extremely impressed with the quality of customer service. My pedicure was absolutely amazing job. They are a little higher im price compared to other salons around them but it totally worth it. I will be returning.
