I go at least twice a month..the young ladies are pleasant and they take the time with you..started going since last year..love them

First of all they are lack of customer service. I had a gift certificate and made me to come back twice because they didn't have time to do my ped an man when the salon was completely empty. When I returned they again made me to wait for an hour. The people who work there is rude they don't even greet or welcome their customers. First and last time there. NO STARS

The manicurists are really good here!
They are very friendly and pleasant to be around!
Clean place and all the gadgets are up to date.

Customer service is really bad here!!!

Went to Kim's Nail SPA a block away and received excellent treatment...

I happened to go to Beauty Bar by mistake - but the place seemed clean and lacked the annoying odor most nail salons have. I asked for a mani -pedi. A pedi started at $18 - and there was a fee of $10 to remove calluses! I opted for the standard service - and over all - my tech seemed to breeze through my toes and hands as if I wasn't worthy of being there b/c I didn't attach the ala carte services. She quickly ran a pumice under the bottom, slapped on lotion and before I knew it.. My toes were being painted. The same for my manicure. Also, towards the end of my manicure - I was charged an additional $5 for quick dry top coat.

I assumed this place was classy - but with the care to each client lacking detail unless you pay over $40 for a pedicure - is ridiculous! I make it a point to go to nicer places so I won't have to deal with "fast food" nail service - unfortunately - I did not find such quality today.

I do not recommend Beauty Bar - AT ALL.
