WHAT A DISGRACE!!! Due to their deceptive practices we were forced to cancel our son’s 3rd birthday party. We booked the party a year in advance. They would only communicate through email until two weeks before the party. When we booked the party we were told adults were free but now they were telling us that it was free for them to enter the park but not to walk with their 2 – 5 year old children through the fun house and on a miniature golf course at night. We had already invited 32 adults and having to pay for them almost tripled the cost of the party from $600 to $1700! They refused to do the honorable thing and work with us or take a dime off the price due to the misunderstanding. A misunderstanding that was caused by their failure to communicate via phone or clearly state the extra charges in the initial contract. To add insult to injury they added a 20% service charge for food that came to $130. They only offered to work with us four days before the party after they realized we might cancel. At that point it was too late as we had already been forced to book another party. I have never written a review about any company but I felt an obligation to warn people about this despicable company.

Most of the attractions are closed or broken. Overpriced for so little to do. On the plus side, the stuff that is open and working is fun. And the workers are awesome. They really get into their roles.

Pros: Speed Pass is well worth it! Its only $10 extra which is like $2 an attraction. Its cheaper to pay when you get there on the cash only line, if you pay online you have to pay a service fee and print out the tickets. You get free refills if you order soda in a reg cup instead of a to go cup!
Cons: Bottled water (Poland Spring) cost $3.25 the price of a 24 pack of water. Short staffed, Temple of Terror & Evil in the woods was a waste. These 2 attractions had limited characters, we didn't see anyone til halfway through the attraction. Also while waiting online, the exiting guest came out telling the awaiting guest that the wait on the line isn't worth it. Well sadly they we're right.

I will start off that the attractions for Halloween are decent, but the hype that I was given did not justify the entire experience. It is definitely not worth a drive from almost an hour away, but I could see it being more fun if you are local. We went on Saturday, October 24th, 2015.
First, not enough parking around the town or signage to handle the crowds by 7:00. We ended up paying $20 to park in a private business's lot after circling the town's parking lot 4 or 5 times for nearly 20 minutes.
Next we waited in line for over an hour just to buy tickets. When we got to the front, there seemed to be three separate lines from inside the park and the line from the street (that we were on) that all converged to one ticket booth, each line getting one window. Had we had just entered the park and hopped on one of the other lines, it looks like it would have been a much shorter wait, but there was no signage or directions from the park about this.
Ticket packages are a joke. You can either pay around $20 (cash or American Express only) for each attraction separately, or 2, 3, 4, or all 5 attractions as packages to save money. The problem is that the packages are all set with which attractions you can go to, no choosing the 2 or 3 you want. You think you are saving money, but that is only if you want the attractions that they dictate to you per package. For two of us, we spent over $60 for two of the two attractions (which includes Blood Manor and Uncle Needle's funhouse)
The lines for Blood Manor were over an hour long for an about 10-15 walk through. The lines for the fun house were much shorter, 20 minutes, and an other 10 minute walk through.
After this point, it was 11:30pm, we were tired, and still had to drive an hour back. We thought we would be there a much much shorter time so we could hit one or two other houses on the drive back. This did not turn out to be the case at all. Between the lines and the time trying to park, and only about 25 minutes of being inside the attractions, it just was not worth the $80 expense ($20 parking and $60 tickets) to justify the night out.
Go either much earlier in the season, be local and get there early in the day to enjoy the rest of the town, or just skip it entirely, I do not see our return anymore after this year. Too busy and not staffed well enough to handle the crowds.

The place has a little bit of everything for all. Not a huge park but it will satisfy a family day of fun. Food, drinks and fun all at a fair price. The beach is across the street with a small sandy beach. Plenty of parking but gets crowded for the Fall. The fall offers a Halloween theme park that is really cool.
