Bayshore Pediatric Association: Engel Barbara M MD

Called their office on 12/31 at 7am and was greeted by Pat on the other end of the line. I explained to her that my new born (5 days old). Was ill and up all night he doesn't have a fever but we would like to have a doctor check him out to ensure nothing was wrong. Being our first child you can imagine our state of mind. I explained we would be a new patient to their practice and Pat places me on a brief hold and tells me "we are only taking care of our own sick children today and can not help." She stated this was what the doctor stated who was currently in the office Dr. Preskutchy (not sure of the correct spelling of his/her name). I am in utter shock and amazement of how this conversation went. SHAME ON YOU!

This is one of the BEST pediatric groups! The facility is clean, the doctors (both female, both related) are so thorough, patient, kind, and loving to the children. They take any and all concerns seriously. If I could give them 100 stars, I would!
