Bayshore Community Hospital

Had to take my wife there today. Everyone was very courteous. We were tended to very quickly. All the staff were very friendly & accommodating. We would definitely return if we had another emergency.

I found the staff in the Breast center to be caring and professional; they truly make the uncomfortable procedure more bearable.
The front office staff tend to talk to their desktops as opposed to patients; as a hearing aid wearer I had great difficulty hearing her questions and 'robo-answers'. She was very polite once I pointed out my difficulty.
Perhaps in the next diversity training exercise, working with deaf and/or hard-of-hearing folks can be included. If i had walked in with a white cane I would have received treatment specific to my disability. I shouldn't have to wear a card around my neck saying 'I can't hear you' to receive common courtesy of eye contact.

From check-in to exams or lab work everyone was helpful and efficient. I have used out patient services for a number of years and have never had an unreasonable wait, or a bad experience. Great system Great staff.

The doctors there we're extremely courteous and very understanding of my time constraints and that I had to be out by a certain time to pick up my daughter from and very willing to work with me the best they could 2 accurately treat me and get me on my way. I have been there a couple of times unfortunately and have had no complaints. I would definitely return there if I needed emergency medical treatment.

ER Staff are excellent but once you're moved to inpatient it's horrible. The beds are a nightmare to lay on for more than 10 minutes. Staff are inattentive, incompetent and negligent. God FORBID you ask a nurse here to do her JOB that you're PAYING her to do she will get a nasty, rude attitude with you. They don't follow Drs orders and just make up they're own rules s they go along. If you need much more than a bandaid or stitch run the other way!
