Go for the drinks and karaoke, but eat before you go there. The food is average at best, maybe a bit better than McDonald's, but I don't eat fast food

I came to the Bayou twice.
The first time, I wasn't conviced by the food but thought it was just not the best meal on the menu I had picked.
I came back on Friday night and ordered what they call a "filet mignon". It arrived over cooked when I asked it cooked rare. I sent it back. The second one was really not tasting good. I question the quality of the meat there. If you cannot afford buying and cooking a good quality filet mignon for your customers just don't put it on the menu and stick to simpler meat cuts. It is better than having your customers pay $27 for a piece of meat that is not eatable.
The sides tasted bland. The corn bread was really good though.

Food is great, service however isnt the best, but you cant expect much when half of the staff are drug addicts and party junkies!

Easiest time I have ever had giving five stars. Fantastic ambiance, beyond friendly staff, great drinks (both in terms of selection, taste and potency), very easy to work with them for bigger events, and most importantly, the food is absolutely amazing.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I always get the Crayfish Etouffee. The Mudbugs are excellent, the cornbread is to die for and the adventurous folk must try the alligator sausage. I highly recommend going on a night when Calvin Cody West Johnson is playing.
