Respectable and accommodating dental clinic. I needed a filling and was perfectly comfortable with the office as well as the staff. Waiting did not take long and I was taken care of and on my way home before I knew it. Highly recommended.

Not good at all. Thinking you have an appointment, taking a day of from work. Next thing, doctor comes in one and a half hour later and tale you she is busy and have to make an another appointment for another day. Sucks this female doctor. Staff did not ask what is the purpose of your visit and next thing you know they start cleaning your teeth after so long with out asking. Horrible attitude this female doctor. I recommend nobody come to this Bayonne Family Dentist. Just sucks.

I was initially recommended to come here by my sister, who I might consider disowning.
I will explain to you why the atmosphere at Bayonne Family Dental is not conducive and why the work is not good enough to satisfy dealing with the atmosphere.
I made an appointment to get my teeth checked as I was having pain. I waited more perhaps 2 hours after my scheduled appointment time to finally be entered into an examination room. From there, I would wait yet again to actually be examined. The members of the staff often joked with me that I should be on payroll as I'd enter the building for an exam at 10 and leave around 2/3. This is a re-occurring theme. It is continuously over-booked and wait times are exceedingly long. There is little communication between staff and you to alert you about why delays are occurring or how long you should expect to wait.
The long wait is inconvenient but not detrimental to your well-being. What is detrimental to your well-being, however, is the lack of regard from the assistants and dentists who actually work on you. While I love to see work camaraderie there is a point perhaps where it crosses the line: that point being when each individual working on your teeth complains about their long work-day and how they'd rather be at home. To you. The patient. That is not very reassuring.
There is one instance where an assistant, Monica, stated to me, in a complaining tone, that she didn't want to stay extra to do work on my teeth because it was a Saturday afternoon.
Once, after receiving a root canal, I did not come in for my scheduled appointment due to schedule restrictions. After coming in later, however, I was hassled to no end about this: once again particularly by the aforementioned assistant who insisted that I hadn't been at the facilities for 4 months where-as the actual time of absence had been closer to 1 month. Still, regardless, I do not apologize for my absence. Indeed, it is the job of the worker, the Dentists Office, to accommodate their customers, their patients, and not the other way around.
The work itself is shoddy. I received 4 root canals and 4 fillings. About a month after the final filling I have pain on both sides of my face when chewing. I recall that for the last canal a makeshift filling was made in the office. It was clearly poorly made and I can recall the assistant, who couldn't have been older than a high-school student, address the dentist in less than professional terms on how he made the filling. The dentist, while initially admonishing the assistant, relented and actually said it was fine. The dentist, with years of certification, relented to a high-school student. After the assistant, Monica, saw the filling, she said "its fine, just don't tell him (me)". I still do not know why I allowed the filling to be placed in my mouth. It looks more like a disgruntled piece of chewing gum than it does an actual tooth.
All in all, why come here? The staff are genuinely unconcerned with your health. They care more-so about going home early than doing a good job. The work is shoddy--I still have pain to this day and need pain-killers to eat properly. The wait times are abysmal. The staff, full of high-school assistants, is uncommunicative. And worst yet, the work is shoddy.
It is perhaps worthwhile to clarify that the dentist that worked on me was Dr. G, as I know there are more than one dentist at this facility.

I'VE HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT THIS PLACE!!!!...Staff is horrible and unfriendly...they treat human beings like garbage....bunch of giggly school girls are in charge...next to me was a little child screaming in pain and they really didn't care about it..... My appointment was at 2 o'clock. I came in on time. After 1 hour of waiting time i asked what is the delay for? they answered me with '' sir they're cleaning your room you should be in in no time....After another hour it was already 4.... i asked when am i going in? And i received the same stupid answer....I couldn't wait any longer than two hours and i walked out....This so called '' dentist of the year'' is a stupid joke... the place is unclean... over crowded...the AC does not function very well....not enough chairs....first time i went there they left me for 30 minutes sitting on the dentist chair until someone came to see me!! And they seemed unprofessional and confused....I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN IF THEY PAID ME A MILLION!!
