Bayonne DMV

Very bad service. The staffs really don't know their job. They mislead. Very much annoyed. One person hardly reviews the documents, the other person asks for more documents which is not required. Disappointed.

I was in and out in 5mins Tops. Awsome service. Thank you.

Rude staff. No direction from staff. Endless wait. If you ask a staff member any question you only get one answer they don't know. You would think that since they do this everyday they would have systems in place to know your wait time. You sit for 3 to 4 hours and then they say we're closed come back and do this all over again the next day!!! Obviously the staff has no consideration of people who need to work so they can sit around all day at dmv. Do yourself favor and do not go there. Spend time or money to go someplace else. FYI this is second day. First day we got here at 9 am waited till 4 for the computer to come up and then told to come back next day because they were now closed! It's now 3pm been here 4 hours and might not get through again. Seriously go someplace else.

I strongly suggest a single star rating to the DMV. The single star is only because there were couple of people working their who still have sense for talking polite.

I moved from a foreign country to USA and have expectation of how a developed country government process should work. To my utmost surprise, the DMV has no good process I can really appreciate. My observation:

- The whole step 1 to step 4 process is rudimentary and huge potential for process improvement

- The DMV is absolutely incapable to handle the volume of applicants : Not enough waiting space, People stand in big line outside the building in hot and cold weather etc.

- The staff doesn't work to their full capacity. I have seen out of 16 terminals for the exam, many (almost 50%) terminals remain empty while people stand outside the building waiting for their number to call out

- Some staff come across quite rude when it is not really not called for.

The service here is terrible but that's something you could understand just by walking through the door, the management is nasty and this is the worst DMV I've ever been to. If you have the option of going somewhere else, do yourself the favor and do it. They begin to turn people away very early before closing hours and they are not working to try and help people find a solution. They could care less. If it was possible I would give it no stars.
