Bayonne Dental Group: Cohen S DDS

I came here for the for the first time as went once before for a brief consultation with Dr. Cohen. I so liked the hygienist Barbara as she was extremely accommodating, she put a numbing gel on my gums so that I would not feel any pain during the cleaning and was very complimentary of my teeth , pocketbook and accessories. She also got to know me as a person and asked if I was ok throughout the cleaning. I explained my plight of other not good dentists in Bayonne telling me I had cavities when I did not as was advised there today. I requested her when I return for a cleaning. The reason I appreciated her is because I have been to places where the dentist cleans the teeth where I last went, Dentistry By Monique which I did not like and also at another dentist DR. Henry Harris Cohen who did not have a good hygienist who had my chair far back and uncomfortable as well as misdiagnosed there with a cracked tooth which was not true. I appreciate a good dentist as is rare to come by. She gets a good rating by me. Dorothy Rose Forgione

This place is awful to come to for any kind of dental work. Apart from the ridiculously long wait time, and unfriendly staff, even with insurance the pricing and copays are absurd!! I had a root canal here and was not informed the cap was temporary, only that (with my insurance) a crown would be $3,000. Since there's NO WAY I can afford that, I thought the root canal and cap would be enough. Unfortunately, since it was done improperly, AND I wasn't informed, my tooth fell out! I am 28 years old with a missing tooth... Thanks Bayonne Dental...

The receptionist was very rude!!!, she sounded like she didn't want to be bothered at all. I was in the process of trying to switch dentist and wanted to schedule an appointment, and I felt very un welcomed just by her tone of voice!

First impression out of 1 to 10 would have to be a 2!. I'm sure from my referral the dentist there are great but I would definitely hire another friendly receptionist

i agree with shannon. the dentist were great, but the receptionnists were sooooo rude they didn't even smile at you and the people who took my xray were rough and not very friendly. but the dentist and hygenist were great.
