Bay Street Animal Hospital has been a life saver to my girlfriend and me, We have a chihuahua named Abby who is very finicky, like all chihuahuas. But she, in particular, has low self-esteem and very bad panic attacks. She begins to shake uncontrollable and yelp and scratch the door. We have gotten complaints from tenants and calls from the landlord every time she has been left alone.
Our original vet was too rough with her, so we switched to Bay Street Animal Hospital. They have been very patient and gentle with her and always know how to relate to her.
Recently, a medical emergency forced me to make long-term daily "babysitting" arrangements at Bay Street Animal Hospital while I go to work. Abby is the first client in and the last client out everyday. Even though this is on a day by day basis and sometimes my schedule forces Abby to have to stay overnight, the staff has been pleasant, patient and completely understanding.
Abby has also adjusted very nicely to being baby-sat. She won't stay with anyone usually, but she walks right over to whichever staff member greets her. There is always a great smile on their faces, and when I walk in late and apologetic, they non-chalontly let it go, making me feel like I am more than a client... I am part of the family.
Thank you, Bay Street Animal Hospital. If not for you, I don't know if we would be able to keep our baby, Abby.
