This is what a seedy dive should be. It has atmosphere with a fun and as xpected crass drag show. I went there alone at around 1am and felt very comfortable being there (I am a hetero female in my 50s). If you are lucky you might even catch a celeb being allowed to blend into the crowd. Hope nothing changes for when I go on my next trip to New York.

Atmosphere is decent, bartenders and cocktail waiters were rude. Not sure where people working in service and hospitality get the idea that treating customers poorly is ok. Skip it

There is a Brazilian bartender that is super rude. I refuse to go there because of the way he gives preferential treatment to his "friends". Skip this bar while he works there.

Good staff, good bar. A welcome atmosphere in the area. Pool table on slower nights. Worth checking out.
