While Barnett Tool is a bit out of the way for me, with my town's industrial supply house moving away, I find myself going here more often.
This place is exactly what an industrial hardware store should be. Nearly every tool I use they have in stock. The owner is very knowledgeable about what he sells and guides you to what you need. While they do carry Chinese garbage for customers who are selecting on price, if you ask for the good stuff, they have it too.
One of the times I went there, the owner's father, who started the business, was there while his son was out. He helped me find the particular bolt I was hunting for and told me a little about the history of the place. His pride in the business was obvious.
Their selection of hardware and fasteners is amazing. When I've got an emergency repair hung up on one obscure bolt that's un-salvageable, this is the place I go. When I've tried three places in the middle of the night for a metric tap and die set that isn't made in China and I'm getting desperate, I go here the next morning.
