Barker Lounge

Perfect place to board your dog...can't beat the price...my dog loves it here...we been using barker lounge for years and we keep going back and my dog never wants to leave...now with a newer bigger facility there never over packed to be turned down if something came up and you needed to board a.s.a.p...and the staff are respectable and phenomenal...thanks good job...

This is the most magical dog place. Our dogs have been coming here for over 5 years and are always eager to come back. The staff is awesome and takes every precaution to make sure it's a fun and safe environment for the pups. I really can't say enough good things to do it justice.

I can't say enough good things about the Barker Lounge. Jake and Holly go there regularly for doggy day care and love it!They come home tired and happy after a full day of playing with both their canine and human friends. The new location in Cranford is wonderful. The entire facility both inside and out is not only larger but it is extremely clean and wonderfully decorated. I have also used the boarding facilities and wouldn't trust anyone else with taking such great care of my dogs when I am out of town. Their groomer is phenomenal. She does a superb job making them smell and look fabulous. Last but not least, I cannot say enough about each and every staff member that I've come in contact with. They are friendly, helpful and truly looking out for the safety and well-being of all the dogs. Jake, Holly and I consider the Barker Lounge part of our family. Don't hesitate to give it a try, your puppy will love it!!

Been using them for about 8 years since they were in Roselle. Love the staff so much and this new bigger space is awesome. Anytime I say "Who wants to go to the Barker" in my house my two dogs stop and look at me and run to the front door with tails wagging. Trust me they don't do this with anything else I ask. They love it. When we arrive they drag me out of the car to their front door and are so happy and tired at the end of the day. The greeting dogs get when they arrive is the best. Boarding is also great as they go and come home happy too. The grooming is great and so convenient. Can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. Wish people had a place like this to go.

We stopped by to tour the facility more than 2 weeks in advance of our trip. We were interested in boarding 2 dogs for 10 days. No evaluation slots were available until the day we were scheduled to leave so we were turned away. Were we disappointed? Yes. Were we puzzled they would turn away 2 dogs for 10 days? Yes, that too, but neither would cause a below average rating. As we were leaving, we overheard a jubilant conversation between the two employees at the desk about how great their business was that they are now turning people away. It struck me as unprofessional and immature. If only they waited 30 seconds more until we were out of earshot.
