Bareburger Montclair

Ordered through Grubhub delivery, and loved it. The price is right for a nicer selection. I got a supreme burger and choc shake- so good, ( Angels singing) and the portion is big. Best shake ever. The packaging and presentation is very thoughtful. Delivery guy was super nice, and came 1/2 sooner than estimated.

Had dinner on Friday, May 13, 2016. A nice, hip place with a youthful vibe for all ages and families alike. The staff were friendly and attentive for the most part.

I ordered the Buckeroo burger, rings and fries, roasted brussel sprouts, sweet pickles, child's burger meal and drinks. The fries were barely warm, greasy, hard, dry and tasted like reheated leftover fries. The onion rings looked good. However, they were very greasy, coated in a thick, heavy, but crisp layer of breading that soaked up the fryer oil making it difficult to find and enjoy the flavor of the onion hidden beneath. My burger was cooked medium and tasted ok but definitely nothing to write home about and definitely not worth the price.

The brussel sprouts had a nice char and tasted fine but once again prepared with a unhealthy dousing of oil.

The child's meal was good with the exception of the French fries.

Our server removed my plate as I was tryinh to stick my fork in the last remaining brussel sprout without asking. At that time I asked for take homes boxes. After a ten minute elapse I asked another server and who promptly returned with said boxes. However he did remove the charge for the rings and fries.

Most likely, will not return or recommend. Very disappointing to serve healthy meat fare but neglect to make the sides equally appealing knowing they complete a meal.

A nice new addition to Bloomfield Ave. I came here with my friend around 3PM a week or two after opening, and despite being between meal times it was almost full. I think that Bareburger's reputation for making great burgers really speaks for itself.

We started with a "Share" of the Buffalo Chicken Bites, which were flavorful and came with a great dipping sauce. I loved these. For the main, I wanted to try the bison burger, so I got a "County Fair", which was bison, aged cheddar, dill pickles, red onions, tomatoes, green leaf, and mayo on a brioche bun. Flavorful, but I don't think it was necessarily the best on the menu. My friend really enjoyed his "El Matador", and that looks like it would pack more of a flavor punch. There's something about the burgers here - they're definitely higher quality than most greasy, cheap burgers you'd find at other places. After eating it, I didn't have the typical post-burger "why did I just eat that" feeling, which was great. I'll be back to try more burgers off the menu - I'd also like to try wild boar and elk, and there's not many places to get those.

Added bonus - it's BYOB. It's a solid option for a burger and very convenient if you're in the Bloomfield Ave. area!

As I drove down Bloomfield Ave I was ecstatic to see that Barbeburger had opened up in Montclair. For months, my family and I have been going to their edgewater location. We always talked about how nice it would be to have a closer location. As I parked in disbelief, I couldn't wait to get my hands on some delicious sandwiches. I ordered 2 buckaroos,1 buttermilk buffalo sandwich, and a build your burger beef patty. As usual we were not disappointed. The Burgers and sandwiches were juicy and so tasty, just like the ones in Edgewater, and best of all they are organic! We will be coming back very soon. If you haven't tried their buckaroo sandwiches it's a definite must!

My mother and I had been walking by 3 days after the opening and we were pleasantly surprised and pleased with the food. They have plenty to choose from regardless of your preference, food allergies or restrictions. Also what a noticed is that the portions are just enough that you are not stuffed nor sluggish. The prices are more than reasonable for organic. My mother is a hard one to pleased and if she said she would be back you know it must be good. "We'LL be back"
