Barbour

Don't waste your time or money here. This store is like an even more expensive Abercrombie & Fitch. Their clothes fall apart and rip very easily. They offer repairs but it's not worth the wait time. All of the employees quit the madison avenue store because the management is terrible. You're better off just shopping at TJMAX. I bought a $100 sweater made of cashmere and cotton for $3.00!!! Yes. 3 dollars. Be smart y'all.

This store is staffed with incompetents and the organization is populated with morons. I purchased 2 jackets and had another one repaired on Oct. 3, 2015. There were some alterations that needed to be done and embroidery to personalize. I was promised 3-4 weeks since it was pre holiday.
Well, right before Thanksgiving I called and asked what happened - almost 8 weeks later. I was told that they changed embroderiers and were backed up. Smart to do so before the holidays - NOT.
Another promise of 2-3 weeks was made and again not completed. Finally, the manager ( Martin ) did some research and found the last item in the store. I just received it - Dec. 20. Think long and hard before you purchase from this company.

Classic English style. By appoint of the Queen England, Duke of Edinburgh and Prince of Wales. My shopping experience was pleasurable. I recieved assitance from a knowledgable sales associate with a deep foreign accent. Despite the lack of stock in my desired style, Barbour sales assocaites connected me to their Lincoln Park store in Chicago where I was able to conduct a phone purchase. Overall superb.
