Baraka Restaurant

I was sent to NJ from my job and i saw halal food restaurants and buffets. I was hungry and decided to go a nice restaurant and eat like normal person not in plastic container but in real plate at least. I got inside baraka but the corridor which means kitchen area where they put 2 tables for theirselves. i ordered mix kabab. When i wanted to get inside and sit normaly a waitress came and she says where am i going? This place is not for me. Sit in corridor. Where with smoke and kitchen smell. Whatever i sat and she brought my food in plastic container and put in table like if I am begging . I was waiting at least a normal plate with fork or spoon. Our manhattan street chicken rice kiosks are better than Baraka restaurant. One of the reasons they behaved me like this is my beard I think. Because as muslim man with beard only i see unnormal attitude mostly from our brothers and sisters.

They tried to convince me that the ranch dressing they gave me with the chicken shawarma was garlic sauce. That's gross and it was definitely ranch dressing! The waitress was rude. Don't bother. Just go somewhere else.

Excellent food.... Service needs help... It's terrible...m Worth 5 stars...still...food is that good...

Sorry, I no longer get my shawarma fix here. Something is off with the chicken. This place used to be 6 stars. Not anymore. Might change though.

This is the worst restaurant at main street, Paterson. The worst experience ever. Food was horrible, the waitress was beyond rude. I ordered a diet coke, they gave me diet pepsi. I didn't open it but they said they will charge me. I talked to manager and he was even worse, didnt even care what i was saying. We wasnt served glasses, utensils etc.
I would rather stay home and order pizza. They ruined my dinner....
