One of the best veggie burger patties I've had in the country.

Good sausage and broccoli rabe pasta, as well as pizzas. Meatballs are pretty good too.

My husband and I liked the atmosphere in this popular neighborhood spot. My spaghetti and meatballs were fine, probably designed for kids and less adventurous eaters. The very high temperature of the noodles and sauce warmed me to the bone on a cold night and seemed to last and last throughout the meal, I wish I could replicate that at home. The homemade sausage in my husband's sausage and kale dish was phenomenal. Our baby spinach salad was huge and delicious, as were the excellent crab cakes that had no bready filler in sight, just crab meat, and a really good tartar sauce. The place got crowded by 7:30, I'd say average age is 35-40, guys in plaid shirts and sweaters. There was one table with well-behaved school-age children. The bar seems comfortable as a place to hang out, the lighting is well done. We had a couple nice glasses of wine. We'll go back.

Great local bar/restaurant, good for anything from brunch, dinner through to just hanging out over drinks. I'm partial to their poached egg dishes (florentine is my standby), but their panini are also great. Bloody marys almost as good as Applewood, which is saying something. And the staff are great - quick and friendly whether its empty or packed. Occasionally they pull down a projector screen for movie nights or a big event (e.g. election night, super bowl).
