This is too beaches, one was formally bar beach the other was North Hempstead Beach. Bar Beach was the county and the Town took over both. Unfortunately, the old North Hempstead Breach has fallen into disrepair, and the beach is not maintained, the parking lot is used for bus parking, and the pier is closed. So much potential for this park. Really a shame.
