Bar Americain

Good service and good flavorful food. The decor is very mid-century modern hotel, lots of earth tones and interesting lights and shades. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had the delicious deviled egg (served with shrimp!), the hot potato chips which were served with a sinfully rich hot cheese dip, and a very tasty pizza. For my entree I had the shrimp and grits. The grits were silky, which honestly made them seem more like a polenta. They were good though, and infused with something that gave them additional color and flavor. The shrimp were excellent, flavorful but not fishy. I think it was seasoned with a bit of bacon. Through a little pricey for casual dining for me, I would definitely go back on a date or some other special occasion.

Tremendous service. Good atmosphere. Decent menu but the food is excellent. Reco NY strip with tuna tartare app, side of chips with blue cheese and asparagus. Terrific.

Absolutely amazing! We are in town visiting from California for our wedding so we had to go to a Bobby restaurant while we were here! The waitstaff was outstanding and the food was absolutely phenomenal. The only way this would have been better is if Bobby was there! OPEN A RESTAURANT IN CALIFORNIA!!!
