The manager who was creating our bank account and card made a mistake in the name, which caused us multiple problems later with applying for a new card, and then waiting for a month for this new card, and we're still experiencing problems with the card for some reason as we can't pay online with this card

I've had a few wonderful experiences with the folks who work at this bank. If what you need is a tiny bit complicated, talk to one of the folks with an office instead of going to the teller.
