I almost lost it laughing all alone when I read the reviews and found this lonely ATM on the LIRR platform. Thank you to everyone before me who commented on their own journey to find this hiding gem. If anything, the thrill of finding it made it worth it. Also, id probably never would have been up there and its actually a pretty sight.

It was a journey but the other comments got me there. It's on the platform of the east bound LIRR.

The tales were true! 'Twas a journey but in the end we were triumphant in finding the fabled BofA lost treasure trove of the 61st-woodside station. We lost a mate on the way (he was late to a "thing", so he hopped on the 7) but luckily the wind was to our favor on the warm summer day. Armed with the logs of travelers past, found here, and with the ol'map o'Google, we were able to find our way. Read the comments on here and fear not, fellow explorers

This ATM is real! But it's a serious mission to locate (think the David Bowie classic 'Labyrinth'). It's actually on the platform itself. Totally worked. Jam packed with dollars - just not my ones.

Take the stairs for the train on the NE corner (not the subway). The ATM is on the right side further in the station.
