Bangkok Grand Palace

I went to this place last night with a friend. We had a Groupon that we had purchased. The Groupon when we bought it stated that it was $20 for food worth $40 bucks. When we got there the server there told us that if we have that particular Groupon we need to have a party of 4 and we need to order 4 entrees. I told her it wasnt mentioned anywhere on the Groupon that 4 entrees needed to be ordered. We had missed the fine print of 4 people being required for using the Groupon but even in the fine print nowhere was it mentioned that 4 people need to order 4 entrees,. The server was extremely rude - kept banging stuff and didnt speak very goodf= english and couldnt understand what we were trying to tell her. We ended up ordering 4 entrees but had decided not to leave a good tip only to find out that they had already charged a service charge on the bill - that too for a party of 2 people! I wouldnt recommend this place at all! There are many joints in this beautiful city and you can get way better food and service else where!

This was the first place my wife and 3 year old son ate when we got into the city for the first time ever. The food was great, the atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was kind and the restaurant was clean! We would go back! We visited on a Sunday night and were the only people in there.
