Absolutely pitiful place....they need renovation and new dj's

Horrific someone put a mikki in my drink that night and i ended up being robbed

I WAS ENJOYING MYSELF AT FIRST UNTIL... MY SHIT GOT STOLEN!

IT WAS MY AND MY GIRLS FIRST TIME EVER AT BAMBOO LOUNGE, WE WERE THERE FOR SOMEONE'S BIRTHDAY. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS COOL, MY BELONGINGS WERE FINE ALL NIGHT; UNTIL ONE THIRSTY GUY COULD NOT KEEP HIS HANDS TO HIMSELF AND DID NOT KNOW WHAT THE WORD "STOP" MEANT. TWO GUYS I DIDN'T KNOW (NOT SECURITY) HAD TO GET HIM OUT OF MY FACE AS WELL AS OUT OF MY GIRLS FACE. HE FELT SALTY ABOUT IT AND THAT'S WHEN MY PURSE DISAPPEARED.

I TOLD THE MANAGER HIRO THAT SOMEONE STOLE MY PURSE AND TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO FIND MY SHIT. HE THEN ROLLED HIS EYES AND WENT TO THE DJ TO MAKE THE ANNOUNCEMENT. THE DJ MADE A LAME ANNOUNCEMENT. MY GIRLS WERE LOOKING FOR THE GUY, AT THAT TIME HE WAS IN THE BATHROOM (TAKING FOREVER). MY COUSIN WENT IN RIGHT AFTER HIM AND FOUND MY PURSE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN IN THE GARBAGE. SHE THEN CAME OUT AND TOLD SECURITY THAT THE GUY TOOK MY STUFF AND THE SUCKA ASS SECURITY GUY DID NOTHING! NONE OF THEM SUCKA ASS "SECURITY" GUYS DID ANYTHING. I TOLD HIRO THE MANAGER TO CALL THE POLICE AND HIS SCARED ASS DIDN'T. ALL THEY KEPT SAYING WAS "WE DIDN'T SEE HIM TAKE YOUR BAG IN THE BATHROOM", "HE JUST CAME HOME FROM DOING 15YRS IN JAIL". THE MF KEPT PULLING MY MONEY OUT SAYING "I GOT MONEY MA".. I CONTINUOUSLY ASKED SECURITY TO CHECK HIM CAUSE I SAW MY CELL PHONE PRINT IN HIS FRONT RIGHT POCKET AND THEY REFUSED!

THEY LET HIM LEAVE THE LOUNGE WITH MY SHIT! MY CELL PHONE, MY MONEY, MY ID, MY HEADPHONES AND MY CHARGER AND MY SCARF THAT MY BAG WAS WRAPPED UP IN! I'M LED TO BELIEVE THAT THEY KNEW HIM PERSONALLY AS TO WHY THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO HIM.

THEY ARE ALL UNPROFESSIONAL! I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE! THEY HANDLED THIS ISSUE SO WRONG!

THIS PLACE IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE EVER. THEY DO NOT ADVERTISE THAT THE AGE YOU HAVE TO BE TO GET INTO THE BAMBOO IS 27 FOR WOMEN AND 30 FOR GUYS.. I HAVE NEVER FELT SO UNCOMFORTABLE IN MY LIFE.. THE PROMOTER BIG TONE IS A BIG LIAR, RUDE AND VERY PREJUDICE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. THE OTHER D NICE IS VERY NASTY AND DISRESPECTFUL. THEY OVER CHARGE YOU FOR BOTTLES.. THE PLACE IS FULL OF CRACK HEADS AND OLD HORNY PEOPLE. SO IF YOU ARE UNDER 28 YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN. I RECOMMEND NO ONE GO THERE.. ALL THESE FACTS I AM STATING ARE TRUE!!!!

This review would have been unequivocally positive had I not encountered, for the second time, Robert on June 6, 2013 during the “HAPPY HOUR” at this “Lounge & Grill”. I am employed by the government of this fine city and perform, to a degree, “customer service”. I can see there are different understandings of this term at this lounge for during “HAPPY HOUR” my colleagues, who number eight including myself, thought to patronize this lounge for their “hour” (5 p.m. – 7 p.m.) and much to our dismay the gentlemen on shift (Robert) instructed his barmaid to cut-off service to our table (at approximately 6:40) as “we’ve had enough of the “HAPPY HOUR” indulgence for today”. Now I might be mistaken in believing that the concept of “HAPPY HOUR” is to promote business and revenue. How can you even consider this any positive business ethic when you discourage patrons from partaking of the very “inviting offer” you advertise openly without any restrictions? That is of course unless you encounter this gentleman who “implements the rules as he sees fit whenever the idea strikes his fancy”. Who operates a prosperous business in this manner? I can almost see the dim future this Lounge has left with management such as this. I don’t see a “HAPPY FUTURE” for this business…… especially by me, my friends, family, co-workers and if you are lucky, whoever reads this before visiting the Bamboo Lounge & Grill.
