Caring doctors and caring personnel. After having some bad experience by working in the field of animal care, I couldn't be happier to find a place that really cares about your pet. I would never trust my pets to go any other place for veterinary care. I have had dogs and cats (all rescues) in my life for over fifty years. This place is the best ever.

HORRIBLE! My sweet dog experienced his first seizure, we rushed him there as quickly as we could. While being examined he had another full blown seizure, cunvulsing and peeing on himself and the vet had the nerve to say we close in 25 minutes before she even tried consoling him or giving him medication. The staff was cold and dismissive it seemed as though our baby's health was an inconvenience to them getting home on time. I understand everyone wants to get out of work but vets are doctors, you wouldn't leave a child cunvulsing on a table because you have dinner plans. I have brought multiple dogs here for years and I will NEVER return. It's quite a shame considering my dog might have epilepsy and we made it a point to say how close we lived to the vet, he has a chart with them you would think they would want us to continue to bring him there. As our dog was being examined a random cat came into the room! They have animals just walking around its not clean or a safe environment.

Just have to give Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital and all of the people there a big A+, they are very kind, compassionate and caring. They explain every single thing they are going to do, so nothing is left to chance. One thing I really like is they don't try to sell you on treatments or anything. We have a little Shih Tzu, that has allergies, but Dr. Dattner just tells you what is available and lets you make the decision about what you might decide to do. Would recommend this Animal Hospital to anyone who cares and loves their pets as much as we do.

I have been taking my fur babies to Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital for over 25 years. The doctors and staff are so kind and conscientious...They treat me and my pets like family. The doctors spend time with each patient and answer any and all questions the owner might have and explain whatever procedures that are to be done.
I have complete confidence in the doctors and staff and know my pets will be getting the best of care. As far as I'm concerned, Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital is the BEST!
