Babel NYC

This place is one of my favorite hookah lounges in all of Manhattan! Music is always great. Yes it gets crowded but that's because everyone loves coming here, Regular's and new be's alike enjoy Babel's vibe. We've frequented this establishment for years and that speaks volumes!

I did my birthday party there it was too much fun! #RecklessWeekends The staff was on the ball when I was buying bottles and with the hooka best in the city!

If I could give this place less than one star I would. The drinks and music are alright but the staff is beyond useless. The service is incredibly slow even though our group was spending hundreds of dollars. My biggest issue is with this rude bouncer and tall blonde idiot out front on friday night. This bar should really reconsider having such low class individuals representing their establishment.

Stopped in here after an hour or so of trying to find a hookah spot that wasn't completely packed by 11 pm on a friday night. Before going here I stopped at a place named Horus which had terrible service and I actually opted to get up and leave before we could even order a hookah. Thank God because Babel was a great find! We arrived a few mins after 11:30 and it wasn't super packed but by 12:30 it was pretty crowded. The hookah was good, drinks were good, all average price. The music was great and the crowd was enjoyable. Over all a really great time if you go with a group of people who all love to party.

Place was horrible, they open at 930 and claim to have happy hour until 10pm, then when its time to pay they say no happy hour was advertised. They add ridiculous amounts for tip. Hookah was below subpar. All waitresses were sitting around the bar playing on their cellphones and smoking instead of making rounds. We were promised live music, which never happened. Spent over 70 dollrs on a hookah and 4 small drinks. Definitly not worth the 20 dollar cab ride. I would definitly reccomend Horus too in NYC, that place had amazing service.
