This is by far the best intersection point in NYC right now where artists, entrepreneurs, and the tech community comes together. It's an open loft environment (not corporate feeling), and lots of worktable space. It's free to register, and the staff are all super super friendly.

There's an outside back patio if you want to work in the sun, though the wifi is not so strong back there.

Open M-F 10am - 6pm ONLY. no after hours people, sorry!

I've met dozens and dozens of interesting people in this space. All work backgrounds and specialties, all ages, all countries. Come check it out while it lasts!

Great coworking space if you get there early enough to grab a good spot. Comfortable with good light.

On a cloudy day, when your home life, data pipeline, and/or web application is unstable, come to this welcoming and spacious refugee camp, where you'll find Amazon grace. AWS has solutions for many, if not most, of the ills of humanity, including the pain of managing technology infrastructure. The other refugees in the camp are very approachable, and often as horizontally scalable as Amazon's elastic clusters.
Whether or not boto is your porpoise, your data will find a home, perhaps even in their Glacier. Anyone can become a refugee, especially those with cold, hard Elasticache... But really, anyone!
The Chef cooks the most Authentic-ation cuisine, which is served during the evening events that occur about weekly. You might take some away in containers, with ECS. On some days, there are bootcamps. Overall, you'll be thanking your virtual hosts.

This is an ideal coworking space for developers, especially those leveraging Amazon Web Services for their businesses or projects. It is stocked with small snacks to allow one to get by, and staffed by engineers from Amazon Web Services, who are there to address questions regarding their cloud platform. There is no catch, everything is free.

The space itself is adequate, but it could get crowded during peak hours. There is a recreational area with several board games, and an open terrace off to the side, with a ping-pong table. The bathrooms are rather dark, but seem sanitary.

If you attend a bootcamp or other scheduled event, make sure to bring a sweater, because the air conditioning in their "sessions" room blows the cold air onto you, especially on the left side of the room.

My only complaint about the loft is that the space becomes crowded quickly, and finding a place to settle down at lunch or peak business hours becomes difficult. If you are the type of person that likes to be early, and intend to use the space to work, arrive before the doors open (9:30-9:45 AM). Other than that, I am quite in love with what Amazon Web Services has done for us. I used to hop around cafes, hoping to find empty seats and adequate Wi-Fi to work on my projects, but after discovering this place and the magnitude of support I received from them, it is safe to assume that this is the best coworking space I have ever come across, and will always go here to work on my projects.

Free coworking space! I wish Wi-Fi was faster though.
