My experience was great.. I had a 10:00am reservation, and I arrived at the location about 9:40am, with one customer was Infront of me.. I was greeted with a Good Morning by a man name Sadhan.. Next, he asked for my license and credit card, and proceded to print out my contract.. After reading it, everything seemed to be in order... Since I came in about 15 mins before my scheduled reservation, he changed the time to 9:45am and to bring the car back June 6th at 10:am in which I originally had a 9:30 return time...Cool.... I signed it and he told me my card will be charged $100 for the hold.. Which was alright with me... Afterwards, we went into a nice little parking lot where I met my car, a Nissan Sentra.. The car did have pollen all over it, which I didn't like too much... Next, we went around the car looking for any dents, etc. he noted two small dents on the right side of the car in which he put down on the inspection sheet... He got in the car, started it up for me and I was on my way back home... I definitely will be using this Avis location again

I'm not a fan of this place. I had a pretty bad experience.
When picking up the car around 9 am on a Monday, and returning ~11pm on a Wednesday, I was told I couldn't drop off after their closing time on Wednesday (when I returned), but could bring it back the next morning. Instead, it was ok if I brought it back the next morning. I returned about 8:20 am on Thursday and was charged for 4 days instead of 3. I had the vehicle on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday... less than 72 hours in total, still I was charged for an extra day.
I eventually got the fee removed from the corporate office, the Rutherford location was rude and insisted I hadn't heard them correctly.
I'll take a cab to another company rather than rent from these guys again.

Correction "0" stars. If you need a car in a pinch and reserve it online, it means nothing to their customer service employee: Sadhan Puvvala. Emergency reserved a vehicle the night prior, showed up at 8:15 am on Saturday morning 5/7/2016, to a locked door with the lights on, after knocking on the door and trying to call corporate, after 25 mins a man casually showed up and said he was "getting his coffee". Never apologized for the inconvenience. Being on a very tight timeline, this gentleman, took an additional 15 mins to research available cars only to tell us he didn't have any at his facility. During this time, he not only treated us as an inconvenience, he yelled at my and my cousin, defending himself saying he had been here from "8:00-8:15am and then went to get coffee, and it's not his fault that we booked our car last night and that they are now over booked". He was rude, inconsiderate, and should absolutely be terminated from his position. As two women we felt he was especially rude and demeaning. As a solution, I drove her the 2 plus hours to her location.

Excellent customer service, cars are in great shape and very reliable. Very conveniently located, will be using this place often!

Sadan is just wonderful. Always greets the people with a great smile. We always get the car what ever we want here. Thanks to Avis team.
