I rent a car for work every other month. Previously I was going to the airport to rent because the local places all closed to early for me to get the car back on time. Then a few years ago I found this agency opened 7 AM to 7 PM. I love them! They are super friendly and always greet me by name with a smile. Cars are always in great shape and I feel safe leaving my SUV in the underground garage for the 2.5 days that I am away. If I need a rental for personal use I will definitely use them and recommend them to friends. Top notch!

if you come through the lobby ,the place is fine ,fast ,quick service ,good car selection,i plan on using this location again,

Only one word to describe Avis at Carle Place. Aweful. Avis is located in a dark garage and it feels like going into in an abundant building when you enter. I rent out cars on a frequent bases all over the US but this place is by far the worst. But even more worse than the location is the customer service they provide at this location. I usually prefer Avis over other rental companies but I am more than happy to accept any type of inconvenience to avoid rentig here again.
Do yourself a favour and stay away.
