Avis Car Rental

They were so rude! Tried here and national who was also Rude and expensive! GO TO ENTERPRISE!

The staff at this Avis location were kind and helpful. Made the process of renting a car super easy, I was greeted with a smile, no problems, car was ready when i got there and dropping the car off was simple. Thank you for making the trip stress free!

There were 3 people ahead of me in line at JFK, it took almost an hour, the people at the desk were the slowest I've ever witnessed, and the 2nd attendant went for a coffee break leaving one person there
Worst car rental experience ever

I have always rented from Avis where possible as I trust the brand and like the way they do things, although customer service can be patchy in places. This reservation was fraught with problems from the start because I didn't have my voucher with me, (Avios Booking). I did have the number but unfortunately I got the trainee, who needed support from his colleague several times and it made the whole process very slow.

Car was amazing, great free upgrade, new Samsung Tablet sat nav is a great idea and good value.

Overall I would return to this branch and recommend others to, but hope they don't get the trainee.

BEWARE OF SCAM, DO NOT RENT/RETURN HERE. Staff lost car keys and are now trying to charge us $257 for lost keys. We dropped off our car at this location, car was checked and everything was found to be in order. Avis staff who checked our car told us to drop the keys into the key box instead of taking over the keys. We did so, and got a receipt from the office after that - proof that all is in order. Subsequently, Avis is charging us for lost keys! Their staff probably lost the keys in the key box and are trying to charge us for that. They refuse to open an investigation and are forcing us to pay the extra charges of $257. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM if you're dropping off here. Make sure the staff take your keys and do not listen to them to drop the keys into the key box.
