Avis Car Rental

Excellent service at LGA. As an Avis preferred member I love the ease of picking up my car and the fact that I am often pleasantly surprised by the car that is waiting for me. This trip my intermediate car turned out to be a BMW 328 XDrive. The car was a pleasure to drive with built in GPS NAV. Way to to Avis! I also like the heads up email that lets you know the space and make of car that will be there waiting for you!

Very good experience. Very short wait for the shuttle to take us to the Avis location. The driver was courteous and helped me with my bag. At the location the customer service representative was helpful. For those of us without fancy phones.... I love that they have small sheets of printed directions for heading out of the airport location.

Wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to your LGA team and recognize one of your people for her friendliness and efficiency.

Claudia took care of me to the utmost. From the moment I walked in, it took only 30 seconds to move up to the counter (though I was acknowledged immediately) to start the rental process. She was affable, cordial, efficient, relaxed,... all the sorts of things you can always use more of while traveling. Claudia offered me choices: multiple cars, liability (which was well explained),... she even knew which had USB plug-ins.
On another note, the TV was on, but not blaring - atmosphere in the office was much calmer than your competitors'.
I've rented with other car companies in the past, but today's experience knocked those other names from my head. From now on I'm renting with AVIS.

My experience began on the telephone during the reservation process. The agent was helpful and pleasant. The price is really what moved me. I am a USAA member and the discount was tremendous compared to the discount offered by Budget. There was so much of a disparity that maybe the Budget agent did not know what he was doing. The shuttle picked us up at baggage claim. The driver was helpful with my handicapped mom and her walker and all our bags. The pick-up location was easy to navigate and staff was helpful with directions to the LIE. We will use you again. I feel stolen from Budget, smile.
