I've been an Avenue customer since it had 3 companies - Avenue, Sizes Unlimited and 14 Plus. I even worked for Sizes at one time. Avenue was the most expensive of the 3 and when they all merged, it was just one expensive store. I'm very disappointed in the quality of their goods. I recently ordered some online only boots and the first time I wore them, they broke. That's not my fault, it's shoddy manufacturing. My shoes typically last several years because I take good care of them. I sent them back to get them replaced and was told it didn't fall under their guidelines of returns/exchanges. If I wanted the broken boots back, I would need to pay an additional $7.95 for shipping. I think this is a very lousy way to do customer service and even though their website says that customer satisfaction is their top priority, they obviously don't really mean it.

Stay away. Poor quality clothes. Purchased a pair of $60.00 denims and within three months the entire waist band stretched out and they are falling off of me. Corporate will not budge on their return policy which stinks. You are better off in JC Penny, Kohl's, Macy's or Lane Bryant. Never seen a company this rigid in their rules and regulations and no right to be at this quality.
