Avalon Hackensack at Riverside

The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgable about the complex. I had no issues with my amenity desires being fulfilled. The complex is very clean and very well maintained. I would recommend this complex to anyone who likes to be surrounded by shops restaurants and stores within walking distance. They are a pet friendly complex depending on the breed of the dog.

Great maintenance service. I got locked out of my apartment around 9PM when the office was closed and no staff was on site. I called the emergency maintenance service line, who connected me with Daniel, the maintenance manager, who immediately drove over to the apartment to come help me out; I hardly even had to wait for him to arrive. I was surprised at how quickly the whole issue was resolved. This is an example of the great service from the maintenance team here - especially Daniel, who was very helpful and friendly.

My wife and I have been living here for almost three years. I consider the staff at present the very best we have had . From the appearance of the property to the closer inspection of tenant qualifications to live here. Avalon Hackensack has come a long way.
Camilla and Kiley in the office can not be nicer to try and help in any situation and take the time to explain when they can't. They are very professional with the prospective tenants.
I can not say enough about the maintenance staff: Dan, Ramon, and the new Dan the boss can not be nicer people aiming to please.

There has been a major improvement is the cleaning staff as well and the property reflects that team.

What remains to be seen if the property management is dedicated to enforcing pool policies and guest policies regarding the barbeque area etc. In the past, this has been difficult, better last summer, but a long way to go!

For a building owned by a company, lots of room for improvement.
