STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
They have the worst customer service. Our sales guy was named Josh. He looked and talked like he was new in this business. He quoted a monthly payment which seemed too good to be true. I did the math and asked why didn't the amounts add up and he said that they do "balloon financing." Later he asked his "boss" Vinny to come over and Vinny gave us the real monthly payment which is completely different than what Josh said. I asked why the monthly payments were different and if it was because of balloon financing. His response was, "no we do not do balloon financing here." Did Josh just make that up?
It was a quick sale for them since we liked the car and it had all the specifications we were looking for. Anyway we bought the car and they owed us the 2nd key that came with the car. I've been calling Josh every other day and he has been avoiding my calls. I've left messages and he has never returned my calls. When I call the front desk to locate Josh, he could never be found. I've asked the front desk to take messages numerous times and have Josh call me back. This also never happened. Finally when I got a hold of him by showing up in the dealership unannounced, he said he would speak to his service manager. It has been a month and I STILL have not heard back from him on exactly when I would receive the 2nd key.
WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT? AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. You know what, I take that back. The plague would be much more desirable than buying a car from this place. Once they make the sale don't expect to hear back from them. They will dodge your calls.
ALSO DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY/SERVICE CONTRACT. Sam the 'finance manager' makes a commission off every extended warranty/service contract he sells. They sell the extended warranty/service contract but will not provide you the 'terms and conditions' portion of the contract, so that you will not be made aware of the cancellation provisions! We sent in the cancellation form for the the extended warranty/service contract within the cancellation period provided by New York State law. Sam refused to cancel it. He will state that extended warranty can not be canceled. HE IS LYING TO YOU New York State law provides for cancellation provisions in all extended warranty/service contracts.
Under New York State Law Ins. Law § 7903(e), all extended warranty/service contracts can be cancelled.
New York State Law Ins. Law § 7903(e) - "Service contracts shall require every provider to permit the service contract holder to return the contract within at least twenty days of the date of mailing of the service contract or within at least ten days if the service contract is delivered at the time of the sale or within a longer time period permitted under the contract. If no claim has been made under the contract, the contract shall be void and the provider shall refund to the contract holder the full purchase price of the contract. A ten percent penalty per month shall be added to a refund that is not made within thirty days of return of the contract to the provider. The provisions of this subsection only apply to the original purchaser of the service contract."
Don't get scammed by these people!
Here is an update. Purchased the car on 1/25/16. Today is 3/1 STILL NO 2ND KEY. Oh and guess what? I called the warranty company and they said they never received any funds for the warranty. The funds are still with the dealership. Great, I paid for a warranty that I don't have and that they won't cancel even though cancellations are allowed under NYS Law § 7903. So what does that mean? The dealership is STEALING the funds for the warranty.
I would encourage everyone who has been scammed by this place to file an official complaint with Nassau County Consumer Affairs department, Better Business Bureau and the NYS DMV. The NYS DMV regulates dealerships.
