I visited the jersey city au Bon pain store two weeks ago. The cashier swiped my card, wrapped a piece of paper around it and swiped it again. She gave me back my card but not the paper. Halfway to work I realized she could have an imprint of my card. I cancelled it and contacted them via email, phone and Facebook but so far Ty haven't responded. No telling how many customers she did this too. I won't be going back, I head to City Diner now for my breakfast.

Terrible. Avoid like the plague. They forgot an item I ordered, only partially filled up the cups (like 1/3 full), the staff who take orders seem disinterested.
It isn't really expensive, until you see the portion size, and how crap the service is, then it no longer has any value for money.
Better off walking 10mins to find something else.

I really like this Au Bon Pain location for one thing- their bagels. Their bagels are large and all sorts of flavors with fancy spreads/cream cheese. I like the ones with walnuts on them. It's not cheap but it's a treat for my family and we'd get a dozen and freeze what we don't finish that day. Good stop for coffee and pastrys as well.

Good place to grab quick bites during the day. Good selection of soups, pastries, salads, sandwiches, and even fruits. Better yet, free WiFi is available here! Wouldn't recommend going here after 4:30 though, since business begins to wind down, it feels like you're picking through leftovers by that time.

Really like this Au Bon Pain location. Lots of options for lunch and they are always stacked with baked goods around coffee time (3-4pm), which is great if you have a sweet tooth like I do. I also love that their coffee is always fresh and they label when the coffee was last refilled (or when they will be refilling it next). Chocolate croissants are my absolute favorite here! Aside from maybe asiago jalapeno bagel!
