PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS FACILITY =My father went into the Rehab section walking with a cane and using the bathroom, after a couple of weeks he couldn't get out of the wheelchair and wore diapers. PT took his cane away. He was left in wet and soiled diapers for hours at a time and not washed sometimes for 2 days at a time. The Nurses, Aides, Physicians, Therapists and the rest of the staff did nothing to assess his physical condition on a daily basis - if at all. He wound up with swollen ankles, feet and calves (probably from NOT DOING any PT), I had to request numerous consults and tests for him (swallow evaluation, chest x-rays and dr consults for his swelling), after I was not happy with his condition or the care he wasn't getting, I took him to an emergency room on my own and discovered he had pneumonia - this after a chest x-ray at Victoria Healthcare stated there was "NO DISEASE PRESENT".
They kept him on a Psychotic medication for over 3 weeks without evaluating the necessity of this medication, which we feel contributed to his physical and mental decline. I feel they also deceived the insurance company into believing he could walk and climb stairs which lead to his benefits being stopped. When I told him what the report said about his being able to walk 120 feet and climb 4 stairs his response was "What the hell are they smoking........."
I am happy to report that after only 2 days away from this place my father is doing remarkable. He is walking with help, standing, eating, there is no more slurred speach and NO MORE DIAPERS!!!!!

This is a wonderful place! Unlike the review below our experience is completely different. Our mother was in home care for a year then transferred to Victoria rehab for two month and now transfer to full time nursing care. Rooms are always clean and my loved one was and is still tended to daily with love, respect and care and the staff has been so amazing! She needs to be cleaned daily and is.
We do visit regularly and have seen nothing but the best care. We have been to a few rehab nursing places before that where 5 star rated, and the care was awful as unclean. If you are looking for long term care, keep in mind nursing centers are always understaffed and have a high overturn. So ratings can change completely, depending on the current staffing, so do your own research that is best for you. And do your part to visit your loved one regularly, at least minimum weekly, as no place is perfect and the family can keep things in check for your loved one and you. The current staff at Victoria and been lovely thus far, no complaints!

This place is disgusting. I work in a local hospital and I would be embarassed to work here. I see the facility received a 5 on its health inspection but a 2 for its nurses. In my opinion, their nurses deserve a 0. A nursing supervisor in the rehab named Isabel is the worst one of all. They are unprofessional, unorganized, and worst of all they chart things that they do not do. My loved one had to go back to the hospital after 10 days in this rehab facility due to lack of care. Please do not send your loved ones here. Unless you visit they will be completely ignored. The place may have been remodeled and look good at first glance, but I advise you to look closely, its filthy. Also, do not trust they're Account Managers that make you all kinds of promises for when the patient arrives because none of it is true.
