asked a guy on the phone for getting a estimate for replacing a electrical box. he said he charges $125 just to come out to look. I should've just said no but instead since he's in the next town i said $50. he agreed and came and looked at it said it's not safe, lots of work, gonna have to bring pseg to dig up the side walk. gave estimate of $500 for taping up the wires for "safey". gave me another estimate for $3000 ~ $5000 for replacing wires. sent him off with the $50 for a 15 min evaluation.
got another local electric to put in a new box for us and wires for $300 and charges $25 for the visit. which goes into the final price,
