I've been with them for 18 yrs, when it was just Daisy, David and Rafael. Never had any problems with A tax and they always take care of me.

I love a Atax. I been doing my taxes here for more than 15 years. the people are very nice and friendly. Mr. Alvarez is a Master at what he does. This is a family business and it feels like a family environment , all my family come to Atax and the love the services ......... we do have to wait a bit for Mr. Alvarez but it is absolutely worth it.

They are horrible! First time I used them, the IRS audited me! The accountants failed to report my entire income on the W2s I provided them. The reported the federal taxes but totally missed an entire bracket/box for the state taxes so that income was never reported. Then they completely missed a whole W2! I provided them with copies of all my w2s for my temp employer and full time employer and only the W2 for the full time employer got reported. It wasn't until 2 yrs later is when I received a letter from the IRS saying that I owed over $3k for a return I filed in 2009!!! I tried calling Atax several times and faxing over the letters from the IRS and they either never got them or just completely ignored me. Each time I asked to speak with one of there accountants or Mr. Alvarez, I was told that I would receive a call back. This was back in Feb and we are now in mid June and nothing has been resolved. They don't know what they're doing and don't speak english either. If you still decide to give them a try I would advise that you bring a pillow, blanket and your ipad and prepare for a long day. They are waste of time and space
