Wanted to use my 2-year upgrade for new phone. Was told by female associate that this was not offered any longer in stores and only option I had to go with was Next plan. I told her I was not interested in that plan and needed to use my upgrade, which I knew was still active. She refused to budge and told me I had to choose the Next plan and proceeded to pressure me into signing up for the plan and just paying off the phone on my next billing cycle. Was also told if I did not then I would have to buy phone out right for $843. I was so put-off by the entire experience I left immediately. Went to AT&T store in Manhattan where they confirmed that I could use my 2-year upgrade, the phone was definitely not upwards of $800, and I was not obligated nor required to choose Next plan. Blatantly obvious woman at Brooklyn store was trying to shake me down for commission. Do not do business with Fulton St. store. They are only interested in commission. Manhattan store was complete opposite. I told associate I wanted to keep plan, get new phone, and use my 2-year upgrade. He accommodated with no pressure tactics or bogus information.
