great music, great dance floor, tasty food and the best atmosphere.
Very good lessons and shows.

A very nice place, easily accessible with the R train to learn how to dance tango. I am French and I just started learning tango in NYC. I like going to Astoria because I always feel very welcomed. People are very nice, there are table to sit down, relax, eat (good food) and drink (affordable drinks). They have professional dancers from Argentina coming to demonstrate (always breathtaking), and once in a while even a traditional tango orchestra! Classes are on Wednesday with Gustavo, who is a great teacher and there is a party (Milonga) there every Sunday night. Highly recommended.

Very authentic Buenos Aires style milonga! One of the best places to dance tango Argentino in the country! Great coffee too!
