Astor on the Park

Rooms tinier than an Eskimo weenie. Elevator will fuel your nightmares. Jews won't give me free WiFi. THEY DON'T HAVE CONDITIONER IN THE BATHROOM WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE. The pillows are amazing though. Like seriously where the hell did they get them from. I want the whole winter season collection of whatever pillow brand they use.

I stayed here with my husband and little sister a couple of months ago for a trip to New York. I managed to get a kick butt deal ($69 a night), and compared to the other prices in NYC - That was a steal! With that being said, I was super happy with the overall experience. There was a parking garage just a block away that we kept our car in and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel in itself is certainly nothing special - Cramped, small, literally a bed inside of a bedroom with about a foot on each side. But the bathroom was really nice. And hey, people live like that permanently in other countries. A couple of days of it wasn't going to kill me. And honestly, you don't go to NYC for the HOTEL. You're out and about constantly. It's right on Central Park, a subway station is right around the corner. I would go again. =)

Well, all I can say is that me and my ever growing family have had a fantastic stay at the Astor over the years. We originally migrated in the butt crack of an unwashed resident who kindly decided to wipe his ass on a mattress and from then on the Astor was ours for the keeping.

The hotels meal service has been excellent, providing us with a steady supply of blood from the meaty tourists, always making sure that we can spread the family a little more by jumping aboard our lovely food source and going on to the next hotel. We nibble, bite and munch all night before we finish up by excreting our fecal matter all over their hands and faces.

The staff have been simply impeccable… no need for a ‘Do not Disturb’ sign here, they leave us alone all the time and never once moved us on to another room or hotel.

Above all, we cannot recommend the hotel any more, if you have an ever growing family of bed bugs or cockroaches, feel free to stop over for undisturbed blood sucking.

if I could I would give it 0 out of 5 stars. 1 is too generous. infestested with bed bugs. 100% chance your body will come out ate up..power doesn't work,heater don't work...PLACE NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN. rooms are small an have billions of bugs crawling threw the walls. I HAVE WARNED YOU..

Bed bugs... That's all I can say. Very gross. You would think it being a hotel by central park, in the richest city in the world that wouldn't be a problem. It wasn't the Bronx or Brooklyn, it was Manhattan. Broken heaters and bed bug problems. Until there is public proof that this is permanently fixed, I highly recommend taking your stay elsewhere.
