i swear they hate me there . the regular season teams are wack but the summer and fall teams get better . btw you have to try out for those teams . if you want to get better at baseball this league is not for you they basically suck summer team gets better because all the "nice" people in the league form into one team astor has nice field the teams are usually lop sided one team has a squad while other have a ok or whack team. they pick the teams out of a hat but dont do it infront of the league so you know they probably made the teams them selfs if you would like to play astor and want a challenge ask for the summer or fall league maybe they'll score once or twice

registration fees are ridiculously high for what you are getting. Plain T-shirt, subpar pants, sweat socks, Velcro Hat. Then you have to do fund raising (this year $60.00) and pay for a November dinner ($25.00-$30.00) If you want to receive a Trophy. Coaches all have full time jobs, so that equates to "No time to practice kids to their fullest". So do your research. If you want recreation ok, but if your son has talent and wants to join a High School team find an instructional League. Sorry but it's the truth!
