Associated Supermarket

This particular store had the best customer service. I have lived in many states and 2 countries, and I have never experienced customer service this good. Without asking a worker helped me with my bags. Many nodded a hello. They even used their discount card to give me more discounts. The overall energy was positive!

Furthermore, I bought almost a cart worth of food. That amount of food, at other stores, would have easily been twice the price paid at the Associated. Finally, the variety of products is amazing! They have a great beer selection, all types of jellies (from Sarabeth to Smuckers), different colored sea salts (did you know there is a pink Hawaiian sea salt?), good array of meats (and I mean from different parts of the animal), toilet paper (super sized, single roll Charmin), and more. This store is a one-stop-shop for almost everything!

I believe that out of all grocery stores in the area, this one is the best value with the best selections.

They fit a lot of items into a pretty tight space and manage to keep it organized. Meat selection is pretty basic and the veggies are a little beat up sometimes. On the good side, they have a lot of Latin products and a surprisingly huge beer selection (refrigerate aisles!)

This place is pretty run of the mill in terms of Brooklyn food markets -- crappy produce, crowded and narrow aisles, surly clerks -- but it has an amazingly diverse beer selection.
