As an 7 year EMT, and a person in Healthcare for over 29 years I find this suspension shameful. Yes your man was on a call a non life threatening transfer call. He was flagged down in a request to render aid by a civilian. What lack of basic morals tells you that suspension was warranted. I would want ALL my employees to first do no harm. Your company could have spun this story into such good press instead you suspend a valuable asset. BAD MOVE

I hope the hero Qwasi Reid, who went above and beyond the call of duty, sues the hell out of your sorry ass company for putting him out of work unjustifiably and causing him pain and anguish. The name of your company has ASSIST in it...exactly what Quasi was trying to do to save a dying girls life after someone flagged him down. He was doing his job you non-empathetic moron!!! If you can't see that, you don't deserve to be in business! You obviously care more about loosing money than saving a child in trouble's life. You should change your company name to UN-ASSIST Ambulance!

How obtuse, I would either fire the person or have him or cleaning toilets for the rest of their useless employment.
Who made this call to suspend Qwasi Reid for trying to assist a child who was in distress is a idiot and
is a definite liability to any organization Management here must be putzes who suck.
Does anyone who works here besides Qwasi have the ability to think?
I am taking back my star I would give you 5 dead rats instead.

What in the hell are you thinking? One of your men try's to help a 7 year old girl who is choking and you suspend him without pay?! Do you realize how rare those types of people are in this world? Why don't you contact the parrents of that little girl and explain to them why the man, who might very well kept their little girl alive for a second chance at life, an appreciation gift of no pay. Unfortunately I had to give you on star just to get this published but you don't deserve it. You people make me sick. Qwasi Reid is lucky to have gotten away from you due to you suspending him without pay for trying to save a little girl's life. What is wrong with you people. I can only hope that you will go out of business and I'm sure Qwasi Reid will have no problem what so ever getting another job with a reputable ambulance service. He is a hero and you people are a bunch of shmucks!
