Best fine pizza place around. Be aware that it can get pretty busy. They also sell bread which is really good.

Excellen high end pizza. Fresh ingrediebts. Delicious salads and starters.

Lunchtime sandwiches are the best, especially the meatball sandwich. Pizzas are, of course, amazing; my favorite is the Santo.

i have eaten at Arturos before as it is our friends favorite pizzeria. However this evening we had an experience that no one should ever have at a restaurant. EVER.
For those who don't know, Arturos is a BYOB in a well do to town, Maplewood. It is a respected establishment. Everyone raves about it.
for this reason we brought very nice red wines
we were seated at 8.30 on a Friday night. The four of us ordered two salads and three small pizzas.
At ten oclock the staff began to break down the restaurant, which in and of itself this should not be a problem. there were four tables still seated at the time .
however, the clean up procedure included the mopping of the floors and the counters with such an overwhelming amount of PINESOL as to necessitate that I get up and open the door to dissipate the stinging and disgusting aroma of ammonia. Needless to say, our appreciation of the remainder of our food and the wine was severely impacted.
if this is management"idea of clearing the restaurant they should be ashamed!.
If not, then they need to seriously retrain their staff.
I will be writing directly to management to reinforce the disturbing nature of our experience and their closing practices
Until Management makes certain that their staff understands when and how to begin closing and clean up I would HIGHLY advise anyone thinking of dining at Arturo's never to dine there after 9 pm. It was unacceptable by any measure and the public needs to avoid this establishment until such practices are re-mediated.
